I had the problem couple years ago I bypassed unbalance switch it worked fine for a couple years and had the same problem again so ruled out unbalanced switch. Door lock light on and checked made sure wax motor pushed out all the way too the second switch for spin check OK, so took a chance on displacement switch x2. For switch mounting nut, order part# WP422617.
This replacement part looks nothing like the original because the original is two parts, the replacement is one part. The original has a switch with 3 wires coming out of it that go into a "block" screwed to the bottom tray. And this "block" has 2 wires that come out of it going to the fan. With the replacement, the block is eliminated and the 2 wires go directly to the switch. Easy install. Read more
