This CCMR 30-amp, 120-volt fuse protects the appliance's electrical circuit by opening when current exceeds safe limits. Replace a blown fuse to restore power to the affected circuit and help prevent damage to internal components.
First I check the breaker for the dryer then I check the power cord and the ohms to the power cord when all this things were in working order I then check the ohms to the fuse to the control panel. The fuse had no ohms so I got a pair on needle nose pliers pulled out the fuse and replace it worked just find after that Read more
This dryer safety thermostat monitors internal temperature and opens the circuit if the unit overheats, protecting the heater and wiring. Replacing a failed thermostat restores proper over-temperature cutoff and safe, consistent drying performance. What it does:
Removed lid. Removed switch panel. Suspected open circuit in thermal fuse. Tested it with a multimeter first to confirm it had an open circuit. This part is obsolete. Contacted manufacturer and found part supercedes to a different part number Ordered part. (This website is very efficient. The part arrived with the 1.7 day promise time.) new fuse bracket is slightly larger due to supercession. Marked bolt hole locations and drilled new. Installed fuse. Re-assembled dryer in reverse order.... Read more
The Thermal Fuse is an OEM part for GE dryers. This part prevents the dryer from overheating by cutting off the power if the dryer exceeds a certain temperature.
Causes of a bad thermal fuse can include regular wear and tear, lint build-up, restricted airflow, or a malfunctioning thermostat.
Symptoms of a bad thermal fuse include:
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
Very easy to replace the fuse. Unplug the unit. Take off the back and swap it out. Only two wires. Read more
This thermistor assembly monitors water temperature inside the washer tub and relays a precise signal to the control board. Replacing a failed sensor restores accurate temperature sensing and helps prevent cycle errors and performance issues. What it does:
Ordered a new thermistor and replaced the one that the wires had pulled out of. Note- we secured the wires on the new thermistor with electrical tape before installing. Read more
This dryer control thermostat regulates internal temperature by cycling the heater on and off. Replacing a failed thermostat restores proper, consistent drying temperatures to protect fabrics and improve overall drying performance.
I replaced both thermostats, the seals and the heating element and the belt. It's an easy job to keep my dryer last longer. Read more
This thermal limiter is the dryer's high-limit thermostat. It monitors temperature and opens the heating circuit if the dryer overheats, helping protect components and allowing the appliance to operate safely.
REPLACED BELT AND IDLER. TESTED AND FOUND THERMAL LIMITER BLOWN SO REPLACED IT. DRYER WORKS GOOD Read more
This temperature control thermostat regulates your appliance's internal temperature by opening and closing the electrical circuit as conditions change, helping it reach and maintain the setting you select for consistent performance. What it does:

This upper SPST thermostat is a single-pole temperature switch that helps control heating by opening the circuit at a set temperature. It restores proper temperature cycling and acts as an over-temperature safety device. What it does:
I was devastated to hear my wife tell me our Whirlpool double oven was dead after she used the self clean mode. After my research, I found this problem to be more common than expected. I kept seeing reference made to Appliance Parts Pros during my research. I went to the website and found the parts I didnt think anyone had. APP was quick, the price was excellent and when I called their staff I found them to be friendly, knowledgeable and thorough! They had my parts to me in no time and I fixed... Read more
This safety thermostat is a temperature-sensitive switch that helps protect your appliance from overheating. When excessive heat is detected, it opens the circuit to stop power to critical components, helping prevent damage and ensuring safe operation.
This wire harness routes power and signals between the washer's control and multiple components. Replace a damaged harness to restore dependable operation when wiring is cut, brittle, or connectors are heat-damaged or corroded.
This door-mounted dispenser stores and releases detergent and rinse aid at the correct times during the cycle, helping restore consistent cleaning and drying results. Replace a worn or damaged unit to fix soap door and rinse aid issues.
This cycling thermostat regulates dryer drum air temperature by switching the heater on and off at its rated setpoints. It helps maintain consistent drying performance and protects against overheating for safer, more reliable operation. What it does:
I don't have a multimeter so couldn't check all voltages or resistances on suspect parts. I assumed it had to be the two thermostat units - the thermostat or the dryer cycling thermostat. These were not expensive parts so ordered both and installed both. Very easy to remove back panel and replace with the new parts, making sure the OEM numbers were the same. Put back panel on, plugged back in and it fired right up - time will tell if these were the culprits. Not much left electronics wise on... Read more
This 250V, 1A fuse protects your washer's control circuit from overcurrent. Replacing it can restore control power once the root cause is corrected.
Lid switch problem. Easy to fix, not so easy to diagnose. First thing to look at if something goes wrong and there does not appear to overtly be mechanical issue like pump, etc. Read more
This internal-bias thermostat senses oven temperature and helps the control board maintain the set heat level. Replacing a failing thermostat restores more consistent temperature control and more reliable cooking results. What it does:
This thermostat control replaces the oven's temperature-regulating switch to help restore accurate bake and broil temperatures. It helps the oven reach and hold the set temperature for more consistent cooking results. What it does:
This safety thermostat is a temperature-limiting switch that helps protect your refrigerator/freezer by opening the circuit if temperatures reach an unsafe level, preventing damage to components and reducing fire risk. What it does:
