I replaced the stirrer fan cover and fan, which had some carbon and slight burn marks on it. It was difficult to remove the fan cover as it did not rotate. I had to pry it off with a flat blade screwdriver, breaking the plastic tabs on the cover (which was being discarded anyway). I cleaned the cover and switched the wax motors to see if the clean rinse motor was good and ran a tested cycle. No improvement. The grommet was old and very caked with old dishwasher scum. So water was leaking through where the soap door latch goes into the door.
