I did not know how to remove the broken spray arm so when I muscled it out, the spray arm base broke. We ordered the replacement parts from appliance parts pros and received them within 2 days. I looked online to find out how to remove the spray arm base. I removed it be unscrewing the base, screwing the replacement base, and then snapping in the new spray arm. I decided the problem had to be one of the two parts (probe or card) and ordered both. I decided that the probe should be changed first rather than involve a circuit card. After reading reviews, I went ahead and ordered the complete sprayer arm with the orbital sprayer and the bottom door gasket. It fixed the problem ! So I’m not sure which was needing replaced but I didn’t want to have to wait longer if I needed the other part so I replaced them all that could be causing the problem. Note: This manifold has two holes on the part that mounts to the back wall of the dishwasher. For one hole use WPW10571949.
I discovered that the manifold was not connecting with the water supply,so the dishes in the upper tray were not being washed. This was caused because the rear hanger on the manifold had broken and it did not lineup properly into the water supply connection in the back of the dishwasher. This is the lower spray arm that sits beneath the bottom dish rack in the dishwasher. It rotates during the wash cycle, spraying water through its jets to clean dishes on the lower rack.
