My particular model of microwave had one screw visible but the other hidden behind a plastic ring. I needed to pop the ring out by disengaging the plastics clips using a putty knife; then it was an easy job of unscrewing the old handle and screwing the new one in. I replaced the screen filter (by sliding it to the rear), and then removed the filthy charcoal filter. Then I slid in the new charcoal filter and replaced it with a new screen filter. I repeated the other side. A piece of advice: the screen filter (silver one) comes with one per unit, where as the charcoal filter came with two per unit. This is a set of two charcoal filters designed for a range hood operating in recirculating (non-vented) mode. The charcoal absorbs odors and smoke from cooking before the air is recirculated back into the kitchen. Replace these filters if you notice lingering cooking odors, reduced air freshening performance, or if they have been in use for six months or longer.
