I replace the old timer with the new one I purchased from appliance parts pros.com I removed the nuts from back of top console of the dryer. Removed the electrical prongs from the old timer and then replace with new timer than plug dryer in wall and started the dryer on timed cycle and the heating elements kicked in and my wife was smiling from ear to ear. I first received the quality parts in less than 2 days. It took me 5 minutes to change out the timer and 2 of the minutes were finding where my fiancée put the Phillips head screwdriver. Unplug dryer first, remove top three screws from back panel. Pull old timer up and out, have new timer in hand and transfer one wire at a time.
