Checked all hoses for clogs cleaned them out and problem still existed so it was time for a new pump and since I was in there I replaced the drain hoses as well. Pump and hoses were exact oem replacement parts project took 30 minutes and the wife was happy again!!! Read more

Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up). We bought a house with an over-the-range microwave, which just recirculated air into our house--not effective for smoky meals! We removed the microwave and cut a hole to send the exhaust out the back of the microwave (and out of our house), but realized we were missing this damper and frame that go on the back of the microwave for rear exhaust. I figured after 10.5 years that it might be time to replace the dispenser hoses because I was noticing black stuff in the dispenser trays. I replaced two or the four hoses and clamps on the far left side and for good measure the hot water inlet valve. Went on line looking on how to accomplish this and Appliance parts pro site came up and it was exactly what I needed. Order was sent on Sunday note and on Tuesday afternoon it was delivered. We followed the manufacturer's instructions about re-positioning the fan motor and installing the vent damper (easy). We constructed a duct system from the microwave to the outside of the house (challenging). We used 3.25" x 10" metal duct to start the system through the wall behind the microwave, where we added framing to reinforce a cut stud. I changed the pump and also discovered the coin trap was wearing thin because it was rubbing against the sheet metal. So I replaced that as well. It took about 15 minutes to remove the coin trap and pump and about 20 minutes to install. The shipping was amazingly fast. I received the parts the next morning. Ice buildup inside the freezer was caused by warm air beneath the freezer contacting cold air from inside the freezer the resulting condensation freezing and blocking the drain, causing the ice buildup inside. To access the tub seal, complete disassembly of the washer unit was involved, including removal of the dryer unit on top in order to pull out both tubs. The motor and bearings must also be removed as well from the underside of the outer tub. Read more

After checking the defrost heater to confirm it was ok. I replaced the main electronic board. That wasn't it. After 1 1/2 weeks, it frosted up again. I called and talked to a tech person at APP and then ordered the air tower, defroster thermostat, and temp sensor. I installed them all and the frig works great. Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. Whole job less than 1 hour. BTW parts arrived next day! Read more
