This rear suspension rod assembly supports the washer tub from the back of the cabinet. Replacing a worn or broken rod restores stable spin performance and helps reduce banging, vibration, and off-balance interruptions.
- Supports and stabilizes the wash tub from the rear of the cabinet
- Absorbs tub movement during agitation and spin to minimize vibration and noise
- Helps maintain tub alignment to reduce off-balance pauses or repeated redistributions
- Typical symptoms include loud banging, excessive shaking/walking, or the tub leaning toward the back
What's included: One rear suspension rod assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water; wear gloves and eye protection
- Open the cabinet or raise the top to access the rear suspension
- Support the tub to relieve tension, then remove and replace the rod in the same mounting points
- Level the washer and run a short test cycle after replacement
Position note: Designed for the rear suspension location.
