This is a combined touchpad and control panel assembly in black that mounts on the front of the dishwasher door. I ordered a new Panel-Control. The old one was removed easily by taking out six screws. The old panel lifted, then tilted out. The electronic circuit board was disconnected and attached to the new panel. My new panel did not want to fit in properly at first. I could not find disassembly instructions so just went straight into it. I bought the part from APP.com and the replacement was simply. I pulled it into the receptacle, put the door back together and then adhered the new keypad to the door.
