Wall Switch Parts

Had to replace the switch for the left rear burner on a Whirlpool cooktop Model W5CE3625AB00. I turned off the circuit breaker for the cooktop and lifted it out of the countertop. It was simply held down by its own weight. There were approximately a dozen screws holding the smooth surface down onto the rest of the unit. Replace dual infinity switch. The only difficulty is the terminal labels on the new switch did not match at all with the terminal labels on the original switch. The enclosed instructions were NOT helpful. But I contacted your representative, Johnny, and he was most helpful and patient. First I needed to replaced the timer. However that timer is no longer available. So I was not able to buy that part. A friend encouraged me to cross reference the part number. I did and I found another timer that claimed it would work on my machine. It looked very similar. I got the timer from you guys and put it in. I replaced both the solenoid (part of the inlet valve kit) and the pressure sensor. Online research suggested my intermittent issue with the cold water fill being just a trickle and then causing an error was likely due to one or both of those two parts failing. Since they are in the same spot it was suggested (and I agree) that it is best to replace both at the same time. First I took the back top panel off the stove. The crackling was coming from the control element. I went directly to AppliancePartsPros.com diagram to see what part I needed. Ordered and the part was delivered within 72 hours. The installation was so easy. Pull a couple wire off and reinstall them on the new control. No more crackling. I had to take the control board off the bottom of the cooktop and replace the fan switch. The post that fits into the hand switch had broken off. The new switch cost about $35, it was an exact replacement and the whole repair took less than an hour. My wife is very happy because now she can again use the downdraft fan on the cooktop. Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. • Will not stop filling with water

This error code indicated faulty water level and wash cycles were exhibiting either no water or too much water. Saw utube vid using this part for this type of problem and so far the repair is working well. Part arrived in 2 days, it was the right part and the machine is working the way its supposed to so I'm very happy. TALKED TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVE AND WE WENT THROUGH ALL THE ON/OFF AND LIMIT SWITCHS. NARROWED IT DOWN TO TWO SWITCHS. THE ON/OFF SWITCH AND THE LIMIT SWITCH ON THE DOWN CYCLE SIDE.
