Jennair jjw9630cas double oven doors did not close all the way and the light would not go out Wayne W. • East Longmeadow , MA • February 13, 2016
I have a Jennair jjw9630cas double wall oven, and after a few years I noticed that the light would not go out, first in the bottom oven, and then in the top oven. It didn't look like a difficult fix so I ordered four new hinges and four new receptacles, which arrived quickly. I found a video on YouTube that showed how to replace the hinges and it...

Fridge side wasn't staying cold massive ice build up in freezer ice blockage in fan duct Christopher M. • Yorba Linda , CA • December 15, 2014
Condenser was encased in solid block of ice due to automatic defrost not working. Replaced thermostat and ADC control board. Working fine now. Most tedious part was using a heat gun to melt all the ice off the condenser coils.
You will need a couple small wire nuts to splice the new thermostat into the existing harness (they are not included).
Service tech wanted over $400 to repair, fixed it myself for half that. Thanks !

I originally tried to order the part from Sears since I bought the fridge from them. I was promised the part in 2-3 weeks. When nothing appeared and I checked my order it said the part was not in stock. I called and reordered a substitute part and was promised it would arrive in another 3 weeks. When I received the part it arrived cracked in half. So I called them and told them it arrived damaged and please send me a new one. They reordered and it told me it would arrive in 10 days. When...

Door gasket worn Robert P. • Sewell , NJ • June 15, 2015
Followed directions on video, worked as advertised. The only trouble I had (if you can call it that) was with removing the door. I have a freezer on top not side by side. Its easier to take the door off a side by side. When doing one like mine it can be done with one person but it's nice to have an extra set of hands to hold the door in place when removing the bracket which is on the bottom, You can take the freezer door off if you want and work your way down to the fridge door but I didn't...
