Robert G Wentzville , MO June 17, 2015 Teeth stripped from gear in transmission The parts I purchased from Appliance Parts Pro fit perfectly and were reasonably priced. I received them the next day, which made the Wife (and me) very happy. Although Appliance Parts Pro did not have a repair video for this, I was able to find one online and the machine is washing like new again. The website is well laid out and easy to find what your looking for. Between the available parts and the videos they provide, anyone who is reasonably handy should be able to repair their machine as well. Bob Wentzville, Mo. Stuart B Grand Rapids , MI May 25, 2019 Appliance: Kenmore Washer 11026902690 Washer would agitate but not spin After checking coupler, clutch and other parts, I rebuilt the transmission using neutral assembly pack. The repair is straightforward but messy since the transmission is full of gear oil (I used new 80-90w oil after cleaning out the transmission with solvent). Don't forget blue silicone for the transmission case to prevent oil from leaking. John K West Kingston , RI January 02, 2020 Appliance: KitchenAid KAWE860WWH1 The washer would not drain or spin instead it made this awful grinding noise as though gears were grinding together I presumed the problem was in the gear case, but when I opened it I did not see anything wrong except the gear oil was thin and black…no surprise since it was 27 years old. I replaced the oil and to be on the safe side, I also replaced the neutral assembly, the clutch assembly, the motor coupling and the gear case seal, which was leaking. The washer now works like new again. Your repair videos were invaluable as I could not have done the repairs without them. Thank you. Read More...
