This is a spark ignition switch assembly with wiring harness that controls the electric igniters on a gas range cooktop. It sends voltage to the spark modules when a burner knob is turned, initiating the clicking ignition sequence. Replace this part if your burners won't spark when turned on, spark continuously even when knobs are in the off position, or if only some burners ignite properly.
