Ann M Walled Lake , MI February 10, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Refrigerator MFI2569VEM2 Ice maker stopped working and veggie drawer froze all the vegetables I first read some threads on the topic and figured out it was probably the ice maker. I found the part cheaper somewhere else but if it wasn't the problem I couldn't return it. I figured it was worth a little extra money to be able to return it if I was wrong and it was something else. I ordered the part watched the tutorial on YouTube , and replaced it. The only trouble I had was getting the wire harness to stay to the side to get the ice maker back in. I finally taped it down. I fixed it! I hate paying for service calls and outrageous service repairs. It is working beautifully. Thanks. Easy to do. My husband is super happy to say , his wife fixed it! Neither of those fixed the problem. Changing out the ice maker assembly itself fixed the problem. This was an incredibly quick and easy repair and the installation video was very helpful.
