This is a genuine lock nut replacement. This is a general piece of hardware that is often used on several types of lawn and garden equipment, including in engines, housing, and other areas. When properly secured, the lock nut tightens to a bolt and uses an extra locking washer with teeth to ensure a snug fit.If lock washers do get damaged or lost, they need to be replaced immediately with a genuine OEM replacement. I went on line with my model # of stove. Found the part very easy. Placed order and received part in about 3 days. This was so easy to replace this striker. Just remove knob, remove 2 screws and wire to striker. Replace new striker, put the 2 screws back in and hooked the new wire up to striker. It works great. Very good service all around. The seal that goes from side to side was supposed to have a thin hook, the one I got was wider so I took a screwdriver and make the hole in the oven wide enough for the hooks to get in (yes, I cheated! But I knew it before hand). Changed the others seals and ready to go!! Read more
