I'm starting with a quick background on my dryer. About 18 months ago the belt on the dryer started slipping and squealing. A dual coil gas valve controls the flow of gas to your appliance's burners using two electromagnetic coils to open and close the valve. Eliminated all the sensors as possible problems, leaving only the coils or more advanced problems. Took the chance it was one of the coils. Most difficult part of the repair, was the removal of the front casing of the dryer to access the location of venturi tube to be changed out. My tenant thought that the oven safety valve was bad, but after some research, I found that the transfer of heat from the igniter had to be sufficient enough to cause the valve to open.Your agent confirmed this and reassured me that even if the igniter was glowing, there was a 99% chance that it wasn't getting hot enough. Removed LP Orifice and LP Gas limiter. Orifice was easy, however the gas limiter was the tricky one because I had no instructions to what went where. I could not find anything online as to how to convert from LP to Natural Gas, but you could find several things as to how to convert from Natural to LP.
