Very smooth. I ordered the door and the control panel. It is helpful to have an extra set of hands when removing the screws from the door or place something under it so it doesn’t drop. The door comes off with about 10 screws. They are different length. Short screws go into steel, long go into plastic. Remove the door and upper facia/control panel. Found the correct USA made OEM part from Appliance Pros, and installed it on my new Dishwasher. The use of this correctly manufactured Adapter prevented any damage to the threads of the dishwashers inlet solenoid valve which is made of a plastic material. If I had forced the after market adapter onto the solenoid valve instead of ordering the OEM adapter; it would have ruined the threads on the plastic solenoid valve resulting in the need to purchase a very expensive replacement valve. ...
