Ordered spare part that actually fit my oven. Arrived in three days from next state over. Unplugged power cord, removed racks, used 1/4" socket on ratchet with 6 inch extension to remove two sheet metal screws at lower back of oven. Pulled old element out 2 inches then tilted front of element up 45 degrees for spade connectors to clear holes at back of oven. Turned off the oven power at the breaker box. Removed the (2) 1/4" screws holding the front support bracket and removed the front support bracket. (This bracket is necessary as the broiler element is in the top of the oven) Then I removed the (2) 1/4" screws holding the element against the back of the oven, gently pulled the element away from the back of the oven to expose and unplug the (slip on) electrical connections, and removed the burned out element.
