The holder is an OEM part for LG microwaves. It provides support and stability to the microwave's shelf or rack, allowing you to safely place and heat your food. It ensures that the shelf remains securely in place during operation, preventing any accidents or damage.

A bad shelf holder can occur due to wear and tear over time, accidental mishandling, or damage from excessive weight or impact. If the support becomes loose, cracked, or broken, it can compromise the stability of the microwave shelf, making it unsafe to use.

Symptoms of a bad holder include:

• Unstable or wobbly microwave shelf.
• Inability to properly secure the shelf in place.
• Noticeable cracks or damage to the support.
• Difficulty in placing or removing items from the shelf.

This OEM LG part can also be used on Kenmore/Sears appliances.
