Thermador Cooktop Bracket & Flange

The Cooktop Bracket Kit is an OEM part for Bosch cooktops. This bracket and hardware kit serves to securely fasten the cooktop surface to the underlying countertop.

Causes of a bad bracket can include wear and deformation from heavy cooktop use over time, or damage to fastening screws from accidental impacts.

This replacement bracket secures the griddle igniter/electrode so the igniter stays positioned for reliable spark near the griddle burner. Restores correct igniter alignment to help the griddle light properly. What it does:

• Holds the igniter electrode in the correct position next to the griddle burner for consistent ignition.
• Keeps the igniter stable to prevent misfires, intermittent lighting, or weak sparks.
• Prevents igniter movement or contact with other components that can cause damage.
• Helps restore normal griddle lighting when the original bracket is broken, bent, or missing.

• Disconnect power and shut off the gas supply before beginning any service.
• Handle the igniter electrode and ceramic insulator carefully; avoid touching the ceramic surface with bare hands.
• Secure mounting hardware; do not overtighten screws.
• After installation, reconnect power/gas and test for proper ignition; check for gas leaks using a soap solution if gas connections were disturbed.
