This wire oven rack slides into the oven's side supports to hold cookware at the correct height. Replace a bent, rusted, or missing rack to restore safe, level support and smooth sliding for baking, roasting, and broiling. What it does:

Provides a stable, level surface for pans and dishes on the oven's side rails
Lets you position food at multiple heights for proper cooking and airflow
Slides in and out for easy loading and unloading when properly seated
Common replacement reasons: bent/warped wires, flaking finish or rust, rough sliding, or poor fit

Install notes:

Allow the oven to cool completely; wear gloves to avoid sharp edges
Pull the old rack straight out; clear debris from the side rails
Align the new rack with the side supports and slide it in; ensure stops face the back if present
Ensure the rack is evenly seated on both rails before placing cookware
