This is a third level rack assembly that sits at the top of the dishwasher interior, above the upper rack. It provides additional loading space for flat items like utensils, small cups, and lids, freeing up room in the lower racks. Replace this rack if the tines are bent or broken, the slides are damaged, or the rack no longer glides smoothly in and out of the dishwasher.
