This refrigerator drain tube channels defrost water from the evaporator to the rear drain pan so it can evaporate. Replace a cracked, missing, or clogged tube to stop interior leaks and ice buildup.

• Disconnect power; pull the unit forward and remove the lower rear access panel
• Remove the old tube from the drain outlet and drip pan; clear any ice/debris with warm water—avoid sharp tools
• Seat the new tube fully on the drain outlet and position the outlet into the pan; verify flow by pouring warm water down the drain
• Restore power and monitor for leaks as normal defrost cycles resume
