This part is a Bosch oven range and vent hood control module. The purpose of this component is the direct control of the stove's range top cooking area and the hood vent/fan area. When the range top only powers individual burners or doesn't heat to temperature properly, this could indicate the need for a new control board. This model controls the hood range as well, meaning the light and fan would stop working also. On the oven this part is made for, the range control board would be housed directly on the top-front portion of the stove. The range slides out, allowing access to the back of the range control. Disconnect the control board from the range assembly. Reconnect the new component and fasten it back into place. This is a genuine OEM product and is sourced directly from the manufacturer as an individual component. Only Bosch ranges are compatible with this product.
