Jimmie F Winfield , KS January 15, 2018 Appliance: Whirlpool Dryer LER7646EQ0 Broken dryer belt and not heating as good as it used to. I undid the top with a putty knife, took out two screws and took off the front. I replaced the drum rollers and put the new belt on the drum, looped the belt on the idler and then onto the motor pulley. I also put on two new top hold down clips as the old ones broke because they were plastic, the new ones were metal. I took off the back panel and replaced the heating element. The hardest part was cleaning up all of the lint and dirt that had accumulated over the years. It was not difficult, just took time as I was doing it by myself. Your videos did help. Thanks!
