Nearly all keys on panel failed to function complete loss of oven and timer related features Replaced front panel, complete with touch screen. Twenty minutes to change out. 14 screws to access back side of panel. Unplug all wires from electronic panel, move panel to new display panel. Reconnect all wires and reinstall new panel.to stove front. Firepower stove repair complete. First, turn off the breaker to the range. Be prepared for this to be a two-person repair. Someone needs to support the part as it is removed and replaced. It has some weight and will pull out the attached wires. Anyway, the part is easily removed with a screwdriver and hex set. The part loosened and a few wire clips on the inside need to be detached - it looks like a computer motherboard. Same setup and color coded clips and wires, you can't mess it up. Simply detach the wires, get the new part in place and reattach the wires. One thing you also need to do is pop out the little red buttons from the old part that act as the lights. The part does not come with those. We secured the new part in place, turned on the breaker and everything worked. A new stove is about $3500. This was $250. Read More...
