Leroy C Southgate , MI August 15, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Gas Dryer WGD6600VW1 Screeching noise when whirlpool dryer starts and runs First thing I did was go to appliance parts.com and reviewed other complaints about the same issue I had, then I decided to look up the parts needed and priced them out.my third step was I watched the how to videos a couple of times and said to myself I can do this and ordered the pulley and said I was only two bolts away from replacing the belt so I also ordered it and replaced it at same time. It took me 30 mins to complete the installation of both parts and the dryer is working as brand new. The parts, customer service, and shipping times were the best of all just a Outstanding experience to deal with this company. I have booked marked on all my electronics. Mary Beth C Fallon , NV October 31, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Dryer WED6400SW0 Cabrio dryer's pulley was screeching in need of replacement The fix was easy peasy!! The work involved looked so simple in the Appliance Parts Pros video, I thought I would do the work. I started at 9:05 PM and was finished by 9:35, and that included the time involved in referencing the video, and vacuuming out accumulated dust. The actual work probably amounted to 20 minutes, tops. I only replaced the pulley, as the support rollers and driver belt were still in good condition, but it wouldn't have taken more than an additional 15 minutes to do so. Debra G Lyons , NY July 26, 2021 The belt pulley was bad I found out about your company and ordered the part and got my dryer running again. I had gone to several appliance repair stores to get the part they all try to sell me a new dryer. They must of thought I was a good catch for a new dryer. Guess that didn't happen, thanks to your company. I will recommend you to everyone. Your people were very helpful in getting the right part, great way to run a business. Barbara B Moreno Valley , CA September 08, 2020 Appliance: Whirlpool Gas Dryer WGD6200SW2 Dryer drum not turning. We ordered parts from AppliancePartsPros.com and they came in 2 days even though it was ordered late on a Friday and delivered Sunday morning. My husband has Parkinson's Disease and early stage dementia so it was up to me, with no experience what so ever, to do this job. I watched the videos on their website of how to do each thing involving the replacement of the tension pulley and new belt. The only issue was that when I vacuumed the felt seals on the edges of the drum I turned the drum around from the way I took it out and the first time I replaced it wrong so the belt would not line up in the groove on the drum. My hubby noticed that the drum is narrower on one side than the other and I had the wider side in the cabinet first so I had to turn it around. That is the only criticism I have about the video. It should make note of the drum placement to avoid this issue for someone with no experience at all. I must compliment them on the videos they provide. They are clear, to the point and were the only reason I was able to get the job done as easily as I did. and I am a 77 year old woman who will try anything with the proper information which AppliancePartsPros.com gave me. One last thing they had the cheapest price for the parts I could find. I give them a 10 star rating on their user friendly website and their customer help. Thanks so much as this job with parts, tax and shipping cost just a bit over $80.00 and had I called someone it would have been a whole lot more. Read More...
