I replaced all the fuses and belt including heater and then cleaned the exhaust pipe it's working perfect. Craig P Goodyear , AZ August 19, 2023 Appliance: Maytag Electric Dryer MEDB850YW0 Squeaking during operation. Ordered kit and replaced 4 drum rollers and idler. The drum belt wasn’t the correct size, it was a tad to short, about an inch. I even removed the idler arm spring to see if it would go over the motor pulley, but it wouldn’t. I put the old belt back on and it was still in good shape and wasn’t cracked. The old belt was also a bit wider than the one in the kit. Also, I ordered the motor blower belt and it fit perfect. Karl A Littleton , CO January 31, 2022 The idler pulley bearings were worn out making a lot of noise I ordered the idler bearing with arm, also decided to do all belts and drum support wheels, forgot that there are 4 and order only 2. I did the work myself. I am industrial Tech by trade. So not too hard. I did watch a U -Tube video for familiarization. It is a job any home mechanic could do. Read More...
