How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013111 / WP8544742 Blower Belt

About an hour job 

I replaced all the fuses and belt including heater and then cleaned the exhaust pipe it's working perfect. 

After replacing the rollers, realized I needed to also replace both of these belts. The parts arrived in short order and were an perfect match to the originals. Installation was a breeze and the dryer is running almost like new again. The wife is very happy. 

Replaced both belts. These belts both fit my Ken more 700 series dryer perfectly. Only notable thing was it was easier to remove the motor retaining clip to loosen the motor to install the blower belt. There is no tension pulley on it and it was too tight to just pull it over the pulleys 

Remove door assembly and took apart the door. Removed the old catch and replaced itwith the new one. .Re-assembled door. 

Ordered kit and replaced 4 drum rollers and idler. The drum belt wasn’t the correct size, it was a tad to short, about an inch. I even removed the idler arm spring to see if it would go over the motor pulley, but it wouldn’t. I put the old belt back on and it was still in good shape and wasn’t cracked. The old belt was also a bit wider than the one in the kit. Also, I ordered the motor blower belt and it fit perfect. The dryer is up and running with no problems. 

Took it apart, found a noisy tensioner pulley. Ordered parts on Sunday afternoon, received them Tuesday afternoon. Replaced the pulley and both belts and its running quiet. 

Ordered a new belt along with a blower pulley. 

Ordered a belt from AppliancePartsPros.com. Went on easy. 

I ordered the idler bearing with arm, also decided to do all belts and drum support wheels, forgot that there are 4 and order only 2. I did the work myself. I am industrial Tech by trade. So not too hard. I did watch a U -Tube video for familiarization. It is a job any home mechanic could do.
