Description
This bulkhead is the front tub housing that supports the washer drum and seals the washer cabinet to help contain water. Replaces a cracked or corroded housing to restore proper drum alignment and help prevent leaks. What it does:
- Provides structural support for the washer tub and drum assembly
- Forms the front seal surface to help keep water inside the washer
- Helps maintain correct drum alignment to reduce noise and wobble
- A failing bulkhead can cause visible leaks, excessive vibration, or rubbing noises
