Arch R Mechanicsville , VA May 16, 2023 Washplate siezed to machine. Broke the old washplate into many pieces to get to splined pieces and could not get them separated. I used Dremmel cutoff wheel and cold chisel, finally come loose. I don't know if I should have or not, but I put a little plumbers silicone on the splines before reassembly Read More... Installed new Gear Case/Transmission, Drive Clutch, Drive Hub Kit, 6 drive hub kit screws, Shift Actuator, Washplate, wash plate bolt and drive belt. Second time in three years that the gear case shaft splines wore out. I’ve actually been babying the washer for the past year until it finally said no more than 5 days ago. Read More... Billy B Cedar Park , TX August 21, 2019 Washer basket would not agitate. I searched my symptoms online and found that it was common for the Hub to go out on my Maytag washing machine. So at first, I hired someone to fix it, that did not work out. So, I ordered the parts and had my machine back up and running perfectly in <1 hour. And it was affordable! The hardest part was getting the washer plate off, but found the online instructions easy to follow and this made it easier. Read More...
