Ernest Q Geneva , FL December 11, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool LXR7144EQ0 When the timer was actuated the machine would only hum Not knowing for sure that the problem was the capacitor, I was reluctant to purchase and replace the part. I went AppliancePartPros.com web site and clicked on the part replacement video. The repair video was short and well illustrated. Before the repair began, the service rep says, " the reason you would replace the capacitor is that after turning the timer on, the machine would just hum." The instruction video was the reason that I purchased the part at AppliancePartPros.com The part was indeed cheaper at AppliancePartPros.com but even if it was a few dollars more than other parts places, I would've used AppliancePartPros.com. because of the video. It was well done, informative with the correct replacement diagnosis. Thanks AppliancePartPros.com. Schuyler T Lithonia , GA January 19, 2020 My washer stopped working and when trying to get it to turn on, all it did was make a humming noise. I replaced the capacitor and also the washer pump due to leaking under the washer.
