Thomas H Riverview , FL November 13, 2021 Agitator not functioning I watched a video on Appliance Parts Pros which was very instructive and easy to follow. Then I ordered the necessary parts from AAP and was surprised to receive them the next day. After watching the video once again, I started the repair. The whole process from beginning to completion took less then 5 minutes. Remove the wirn agitator assembly. Seperate the worn parts and replace with mew parts. Re-install in washer and start test. All in under 5 minutes. I don’t know for sure, but I suspect I saved hundreds of dollars having an appliance repair man do the job. And that would mot be practicle for a 25 year old washer that’s been very reliable for me. Thank you “Appliance Parts Pros” for being there I needed you. You can make even the most timid of us feel like a professional applince repair man. This was an incredibly easy repair!!! Read More... Tom M Phoenix , AZ February 08, 2015 Top agitator not working on my whirlpool washer Well I am embarrassed to say when I first saw that my top agitator was not working it appeared that these little plastic things (later found out these are agitator dogs) because it seemed they were slipping against plastic agitators, so I put some sand in the area. All this did was smooth out the plastic groves in the agitator. I finally found this website and I looked up my washer. I wish I would have done this first. I ordered the new dogs and agitator top, which I would not have needed if I found this website first. They were very easy to install. Washer works like new again. Read More...
