Judy N Umpqua , OR February 03, 2018 Appliance: Jenn-Air Dishwasher JDB8700AWP0 Dishwasher would start cycle then switch to drain. It did this in all settings start and stop in a few seconds. My husband and I were in a pickle, the dishwasher was on strike and we knew that hiring someone to fix it would probably cost the same as buying a new one. So we decided to DIY. Our dishwasher is a Jenn Air. We googled DIY how to fix online, we had an idea what parts we needed to replace. In our research and price comparison we found Appliance Parts Pros. They had good reviews and were one of the best for prices. We ordered the touch pad control panel and the electronic control board. Appliance Parts Pro had a video on replacing the electronic control board for a Kitchen Aid dishwasher (which is also made by Whirlpool like Jenn Air), so we watched it. It was perfect! Easy to understand and an easy fix. In the video, after removing the front of the door, it had you remove the touch pad before removing the electronic control board. So the video was a two in one. We did not try testing to see which one of the parts had gone bad, we decided to replace both of them and not have to replace the other later. One and done. Our overall experience with Appliance Parts Pros is 5 stars. Great customer service, quick delivery of parts and an easy video on repair. We saved hundreds of dollars doing this ourselves. The trip charge itself would have been a hundred plus. Would buy from them again and highly recommend them. Charles H Bellevue , WA March 07, 2018 Appliance: Jenn-Air Dishwasher JDB8700AWS0 Dishwasher controls would not work Purchased the Electronic Control Board and the Control Panel (was no sure which was bad). Installed the new parts purchased from AppliancePartsPros.com. Installation was easy and the parts fit perfectly. After the installation turned on the unit and it works fine now. Since I could not tell which unit was bad, I used the rule of thumb to replace both since electronics can be tricky and if one component can go bad you can bet the other may also at some point. Did note that the Electronic Control Board was just hanging loose. Appears that the factory did mount it correctly or during transportation and professional installation if came loose. This may have contributed to the problem. Read More... 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers

Marc P Huntington Beach , CA August 24, 2020 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDE70FXSS4 Would not start or stopped intermittently during the wash cycle. An error code of 4 was flashing on the panel. I replaced the door lock/switch. It was very easy after watching the how-to video. I would recommend a second set of hands to hold the front cover in place when reassembling the door. Also if you have and error code I found the way to clear it on this model was to press any three buttons in sequence (next to each other) three times in a row and the computer will reset. Press cancel after all of the lights on the control panel come on and it will now operate normally.
