Steven P West Roxbury , MA August 19, 2014 Appliance: Model 110 47088 600 Machine would not power up (panel would no light up) i did have some error codes displayed before that f 70 was one code After much reading on line regarding my problem. I decided to do any test that I could to try to diagnose and fix this myself if I could. This took a lot of time and patience to get the answers on how to go about this from "experts" as some of the info was contradictory. Jenny R Bellingham , WA February 13, 2016 Appliance: Model WHIRLPOOL 9400 SERIES WASHER F70/f71 or blank screen and 3 beeps when button pressed Read online about a test to see if the MCU or what is called Electronic Control Board here is bad. Unplug the plug with 3 blue wires going to it down at the control board and try to run the washer. If the washer acts like it wants to work (lights on, buttons work, door locks) but drum does not spin since the wires are unplugged then the Electronic Control Board is bad. After doing that test and seeing the washer trying to work without any fault codes I ordered this, replaced it, and it all worked.
