Carsten N Joplin , MO July 30, 2015 Appliance: Whirlpool Washer WFW9200SQA11 F28 (connection problem between ccu and mcu) Took bottom cover off of washer to get to manual inside. Verified cause of F28 and removed MCU (Motor Control Unit). Found that control board burned out. Ordered replacement Thursday about 8:00pm received by FedEx on Monday. Installed replacement and washer works fine again. Installing part and getting everything back in place including test cycle about 30 min. I was told it needed a part so I ordered it from Appliance Parts Pros because my dentist boss he had used them before and they seemed to be good. It was an odd part so it took around 3-4 months to come in. I put it in and the washer still didn't work. After 2 not very smart repair people and about 8 months of procrastination on my part, finally the third guy said I needed a different part. Appliance Parts Pros had the new part, accepted wrong first part in return and sent me the new part. Now my washer works and I'm so happy! Not many companies would be so understanding without any begging, pleading, etc. on my part, they just took the wrong part and sent the new one and worked out all the credits, etc. I recommend these guys to any one needing real help. I had been waiting for 5 months for Repair Clinic to send me the part. This place was recommended directly by Whirlpool. I was getting the run-around for all those 5 months and they kept telling me the part was in back order and changed the shipping date continuously.
