Brice W Silver Spring , MD February 19, 2022 Appliance: Model 65513543N412 Kenmore washer leak from hinges The leak was from either side and rythmic in nature. Seemed like the first thing to try was addressing a wave being formed in the tub. Causes for that I found on the Internet were broken or clogged spray arms and faulty connections with lower spray arm. I could not located obvious breakage but the gasket on the sump cover was stretched slightly and the was food particles in the arms I could not get out. I ordered and replaced both spray arms and the cover/mount the lower arm connects to. The replacement cover did not have the white gear in the middle that goes up into the lower spray arm. Does not seem to matter as it still spins. No leaks after 2 cycles. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
