Dean L Portage , WI May 01, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Electric Dryer WED6400SW1 Dryer was not heating Our dryer was not heating. We started looking around online and came across appliance parts pros.com. Watched a couple videos on troubleshooting, and figured out the thermal cutoff was bad. It was very easy to test with only basic tools and an ohm meter. We ordered a new thermal cutoff and thermostat kit from appliance parts pros($40). Shipping was very fast($8.50), ordered Sunday and the parts arrived the following Tuesday. Dryer is working great again! AppliancePartsPros.com made it very easy, will be back if any other appliances breakdown. Thanks Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers
