Susandelong D Durham , ME October 14, 2016 Appliance: Whirlpool Refrigerator WRF990SLAM00 Freezer was cold but refrigerator was warm The evaporator fan had stopped working and caused the entire area around it to ice up. No air flow was getting from the freezer to the fridge. I replaced the damper control (it was rusted, not sure if it was workign or not) and the evaporator fan. It was a very quick repair once I diagnosed the problem. The most time consuming part was taking all the compartments apart to get to the affected area.
