Whirlpool WP8540402 Detergent Drawer OEM Part

I was moving my washer and dryer on to a platform when the washer slipped and the drawer came out and broke. I was going to surprise my wife with this new setup. She was out of town and was due back in 3 days. I didn't want her to see my mistake. I got on line and found AppliancePartsPros.com and I am glad I did. Their price was reasonable and fair. I order the parts I needed late on Wednesday and they were delivered early on Saturday. I watched their self help video on how to replace the parts and it was very helpful. My wife came home on Sunday and was surprised and pleased with the new setup. I had to admit I broke the drawer but it was all fixed. Happy ending.

Purchased a new Detergent Drawer and replaced the broke Drawer Hook.

Just replaced the old part and works fine now.

I had to order a new detergent drawer. Unfortunately the retainer I had didn't fit in the new drawer's slot (which is a bit different than the old one is) so I had to order another retainer. I was shocked at its high price, $30.00, but there was no alternative other than buying a whole new washing machine, which would've been much more expensive. The new retainer arrived today and it fits in the new drawer's slot. The two persons with whom I dealt, Stephanie and Emma C, were excellent and very helpful.
