Thomas R San Antonio , TX August 25, 2017 Appliance: KitchenAid Undercounter Dishwasher KUDS50FVSS3 Not washing thoroughly and leaving glassware etched/stained 'jet dry' fluid was only lasting 2 loads after being filled Disassembled and removed filter hoping to find lots of junk to remove. There was none (I had cleaned this area a year ago). Looked at everything I took out. The Feed tube assembly has two rubber pieces that appear to act as stoppers. One of the two was missing. The spinner at the top of the Feed tube was clogged.I ordered the Feed Tube Assembly which included the spinner and had the new rubber pieces. The water manifold probe has a plastic piece at the end that was bent to one side. Although I could bend it back, I still purchased a new one. I replaced the soap and fluid dispenser with a new model. Waited what seemed like 6 hours but was actually two days for parts to come in from Appliance Parts ProS! Installed everthing that night and it seems to be cleaning and dispensing the proper amount of fluid (at least 3 loads now and the needle moved appropriately.....and did not dump the entire dispenser in two loads. The most difficult part of the repair is replacing the dishwasher front panel which needs to be removed to replace the dispenser. Frustrating but slow down and take your time, it will eventually go back on. Two people might make this easier but in my case it was just me. Micah P Cocoa , FL June 17, 2016 Soap dispenser not dispensing soap Removed the six lower torx screws and removed the lower, metal door cover. I kept the four upper torx screws and control panel in place. Removed wire connector from soap dispensor selenoid and ran the washer with a multimeter connected to the wire harness. After about 3 cycles or approximately 5 minutes I was able to confirm the control panel increasing the voltage from about 2 or 3 volts to 120. After confirming the solenoid was the problem I removed the 3/16 screws from the old dispenser and cleaned the old deposits from where the dishwasher and dispenser gasket meet. Installed the new dispenser with the same screws. Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set
