Whirlpool 4387043 Dispenser Cover Kit OEM Part

We ordered the dispenser cover kit. the problem was with the spring. followed your "how to" video and it was a quick and easy fix!

I found and ordered the appropriate dispenser cover kit from AppliancePartsPros; it was easy to find compatibility for my appliance using the model number search. The kit didn't come with any instructions and I'd never done this before, but it ended up being a very easy fix once I located a YouTube video showing how to do exactly what I needed to do. =)

The fix was amazingly easy and done from start to finish in 5 minutes. There is a YouTube video that shows exactly how to take the old dispenser door off and put the new one on. All it took was a flat bladed screw driver.

I watched the video provided and proceeded to fix the problem. It did not work exactly like the video showed but figured out a way to put tension on the spring........than it popped open the lid.

Went to website and entered model number showed me the parts played a video decided to order the whole kit. took back off door cleaned area of old soap and removed old parts and installed new. pretty easy with only one exception when I took the back off door a couple parts fell off so I had to figure out where they went, but not a big deal
