Description

This surface burner spark electrode creates the spark that lights the gas on your cooktop or range. Replacing a worn or cracked electrode helps restore quick, reliable ignition and can reduce excessive clicking at the affected burner. What it does:

• Generates a high-voltage spark at the burner head to ignite gas
• Helps ensure fast, consistent ignition for the specific burner
• Common symptoms can include no spark/no light at one burner, weak or intermittent sparking, or continuous clicking from a damaged/contaminated insulator
• For the surface burner ignition circuit

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off gas before servicing; allow the cooktop to cool completely
• Remove burner cap and head to access the electrode; note wire routing and connection
