Description

This surface burner spark electrode creates the arc that lights the gas at the burner. Replacing a worn or cracked electrode restores quick, reliable ignition on your gas cooktop or range.

• Generates a high-voltage spark to ignite the surface burner gas
• Sits beside the burner head and fires when a control knob is turned
• Common symptoms: burner won't light, no/weak/intermittent spark at one burner, visible cracks in the ceramic, arcing to the cooktop
• Helps restore consistent ignition when the original electrode is damaged or contaminated

What's included: One surface burner spark electrode Install notes:

• Disconnect power and shut off gas; allow the appliance to cool completely
• Remove burner cap and head to access the electrode; access may be from the top or beneath the cooktop per your model's service information
• Transfer any mounting hardware from the old part; route the spark wire as originally and seat the tip at the same gap/position to the burner
• Avoid striking or overtightening the ceramic insulator; keep the tip clean and dry during installation
