Whirlpool WP9760767 Oven Broil Element OEM Part

Replaced it.

I order the part from Appliance Parts Pros and that was a Tuesday night and the part arrived Saturday morning and that was with normal shipping. I watched the video on the Appliance Parts Pros and was confident I could do the job. When the part arrived I unpacked it and within about 20 minutes I was all done. Between the quick delivery and the example of the video all was smooth and easy.

My Whirlpool double oven is 12 years old. It runs great, but I've had certain issues that have required repair. One such issue was a blown fuse due to self-cleaning function. Soooo, in order to avoid that again, I did my own cleaning and broke the broil element. I ordered this part and watched the "how-to" video. Purchased my own screwdriver set with the correct bits for the oven screws. The replacement went rather smoothly, but getting the old element out proved a struggle as the connectors were really tight. Once the old element was out, easy peasy!

Replaced Broil element. Relatively easy to replace element just make sure your careful when disconnecting wire from old element. I ordered 2 new screws and I used both of them because when removing old screws a couple of them got stripped.

When I started to remove the old element I discovered it was simply disconnected on one side and the wire had fell behind the wall of the oven. I removed the wall oven and discovered the blade connector had broken so I replaced the blade connector and since I already had the new broiler element I connected it together and replaced the oven. Turned the breaker back on and the new broiler element works great. Thanks for the VERY PROMPT shipping and delivery of the new element.
