Whirlpool WP866375 Bake Element (Lower Oven) OEM Part

Order a replacement bake element for a 30 years old oven, watched the video on how to replace it, and took about 30 minutes to replace it. It was an easy task.

Wire on one side became disconnected. Had to pull the oven out and reconnect it.

It worked out just fine. Thank you.

I located a replacement heating element at Appliance Parts Pros.com and ordered one. The new heating element arrived at my home the very next day. I removed the old element and replaced it with the new element. Shortly thereafter, my wife had a 20 pound turkey roasting in the oven. Exact fit part, easy to replace and a lot cheaper then looking for a new oven or calling in service technicians.

The oven is 35 years old. I was amazed that we found the part. And, it arrived in one day! Talk about service! My husband fixed it, it would have taken him less time if he had held on to the wire when he unhooked the old element instead of letting it pull back into the wall. Then he had to go get a different tool to fish the wire out. But its fixed and my oven works again. I think for a younger person, it would have been a much quicker repair. At 70, and overweight, it was hard for him to get down on the floor, and into the oven.
