Ron M Callaway , VA September 13, 2014 The center element of the 12 inch triple stopped working Easy. Pulled the two screws that hold the top in place. Then lift the top and slide it forward 4 inches. Reach in and disconnect the two wiring harnesses (Squeeze the sides to release). Lift the entire top off and place it upside down on the table. Remove the four screws that hold the metal panel to the top. Flip this panel upside down. From under the panel and release the three clips that hold the element in place. ***YOU NEED TO SAVE THESE CLIPS**** they do not come with the new element. Take several pictures of the wiring as it attached to the element. Carefully remove wires using a small punch or screw driver to push the release tabs on the connector. Remove clips and install on new element taking note to place them on the same index numbers. Attach new element and reverse steps to install top.
