Whirlpool W11107275 Fan Blower OEM Part

After researching the problem, I ordered a new cooling fan. My "fix-it" guy winds up in the ICU for 3 weeks! So...YouTube here I come. It appeared pretty simple in video form, except the video wasn't of my stove. All in all, what looked like no more than a 6 screw removal, turned into tearing 1/2 the stove apart. Still, only took about 2 hours start to finish. Best lesson learned, turn off the energy efficiency mode!!!

The cooling fan is located under the burners but I saw an excellent video on You Tube repairing a Whirlpool range. That helped a lot. Plus I googled and saw the sequence to get into diagnostic mode and clear the faults.

After researching the problem, reading the reviews here and watching a Youtube video, I decided to tackle this repair myself. In order to replace the cooling fan you have to take most of the oven apart including removing the burners/stove/cooktop and control panel. However, this is easily accomplished using a screwdriver to take off most of the parts. For the gas version I needed a 13mm wrench to loosen the nuts on the connections from the gas tubes and control knobs. While it was a simple process, it did take me about 2 hours from start to finish with the number of parts and being careful to test for gas leaks and with the electronic components. I would highly recommended doing this replacement first before calling appliance repair pro. Be sure to unplug the oven and turn off the gas before starting.

Found the part #from AppliancePartsPros.com and was delivered to me ahead of schedule which was nice! Went on youtube for fix and had the old part out and the new fan in approx.1.5 hours completed. Saved myself $250.00 for repair
