After researching the problem, reading the reviews here and watching a Youtube video, I decided to tackle this repair myself.
In order to replace the cooling fan you have to take most of the oven apart including removing the burners/stove/cooktop and control panel. However, this is easily accomplished using a screwdriver to take off most of the parts. For the gas version I needed a 13mm wrench to loosen the nuts on the connections from the gas tubes and control knobs. While it was a simple process, it did take me about 2 hours from start to finish with the number of parts and being careful to test for gas leaks and with the electronic components.
I would highly recommended doing this replacement first before calling appliance repair pro. Be sure to unplug the oven and turn off the gas before starting.
