Description

This overfill control float sits in the dishwasher tub and rises with the water level to signal the float switch to stop filling. Replacing a cracked or sticking float helps prevent leaks and recurring fill issues. What it does:

• Rises with the water level to actuate the float switch and stop the inlet valve
• Helps prevent overfilling and water leaking from the door
• A float stuck in the UP position can cause no fill or short fill
• A float stuck DOWN or damaged can allow overfilling

• 1 overfill control float

Install notes:

• Disconnect power and turn off water before servicing
• Remove the lower rack; lift out the old float from its guide and clear any debris in the well
• Insert the new float, ensuring it moves freely and reliably actuates the switch when raised
